Age

Your character's age is set at creation, and can range from as low as 18 to as high as 65. Age in Rhizome is a cosmetic element to be used for roleplay, and at the moment we do not punish young nor old characters. This is a design choice to prevent forcing players to choose characters currently in the prime of their lives for mechanical advantage.

At character creation, you set your character's current age, and choose a day and month for their birthday, which will increment their age by one each time it passes. There are currently no coded consequences for this.

You can inspect other characters to estimate their ages, and check the date at any time in game.
