Leatherworking is a crafting skill governing the production of leather and leather products like pouches and medium armors and leather components for other crafting skills. crafts leatherworking will display all recipes governed by this skill and the components required to make them, assuming you have selected the skill while creating your character. Review the crafting helpfile for more information on the specifics of crafting. Many inputs into leatherworking come from animal corpses, so it is a naturally paired skill with skinning.

Tools used by leatherworkers include skinning knives and tanning racks, and higher qualities of these will improve your outputs.
