Customization
Also known as: customisation, customise, customize, item customization
Rhizome allows free-form customization of any final craft. This will be automatically prompted of you when you finish your craft, but if you cannot commit to it just then because a tyrannosaurus is bearing down on you or you are currently falling off a cliff, feel free to take care of that little side-quest. You can go back and customize any item you've crafted, so long as you have not used it. Using an item would be giving it to someone else, dropping it, putting it in a container, equipping it, or interacting with it in any way. If it sits inert in your inventory, you can return to customization with customize <keyword>.
When you customize the item, a menu will pop up giving you a few options which you can tackle in any order:
1. Draft a new short description, 1 to 100 characters in length.
2. Draft a new ldesc. You have to draft something. You can copy and paste something in, Rhizome's engine will automatically wrap it.
3. Review and apply your customization. This is permanent.
You can also leave without applying, which will allow for customization later.
Please use customization responsibly. Customizing items into things they are not mechanically will inevitably cause you to lose the privilege to customize anything. Customizing objects into sexually explicit, or OOC forms will result in sanctions, and likely bans. We love this feature; please don't make us restrict it.
