Dual Wielding

Also known as: dual wield, dual-wielding, dual, dual_wielding

The dual wielding skill is a fighting style and a combat skill that governs fighting with one weapon in each hand, which typically requires lightweight weapons. Fighting with a specific style initially makes you a more awkward fighter, penalizing your ability to hit your opponent at low levels before gradually easing off as you rise in skill.

The payoff for this is that in addition to the special weapon attacks of your weapon, fighting with a specific style opens the option for additional special attacks that grow more common as your fighting style improves. Dual wielding specifically specializes in overwhelming an opponent with multiple strikes from varied weapon combinations, and can provide diverse utility depending on the weapons selected. Specifically, as you improve at dual wielding, you will begin to automatically swing your offhanded weapon, which counts as a full auto-attack of that type. As an example, if you were fighting with a sword in one hand and a dagger in your offhand, you would swing your sword, potentially proc sword special attacks, then based on your dual wielding skill, potentially proc your dagger swing. If you do, you then also potentially proc dagger special moves on that swing based on your knives skill. This allows for unique combinations but requires you to master a larger array of skills to accomplish.

Dual wielding trains similarly to base offense, whenever you swing at an opponent whilst holding a weapon in each hand, presuming that opponent has sufficient lethality to be a challenge.

Skill with the dual wielding style is governed by agility (primary) and strength (secondary).
