Character Creation

Character creation, also known as character generation or chargen, is the process by which a player crafts a character to enter the world. It is available both through the telnet client once you are logged into your account, as well as through the webpage once logged in, presuming you currently have no other characters alive and in play.

Creating a character is a multi-step process:

1. Pick a Name
2. Select the visible gender you wish to play.
3. Select your character's age.
4. Select your character's date of birth.
5. Choose your race.
6. Set your character's height and weight.
7. Describe your short description.
8. Describe your full look description (or long description).
9. Decide on what skills your character should start with.
10. Determine your stat block and assign its values to your attributes.

As an optional step after character creation, you can add the first entry to your character's journal, which will serve as your in-character background describing your character's backstory before starting play.
