Drop

Drop allows your character to move items from their inventory into the room.

Command                       What it does
drop <item>                   Drops something you're carrying loose, putting it on the ground
drop all                      Drops everything loose in your hands at once, with one message
drop coins, drop all money    Drops your whole purse as a pile of coins
drop 20 farthings             Drops that many coins

You will not be able to drop things directly from your equipment; you must remove <item> first, then drop it. This is a safeguard against accidentally disarming yourself in a tricky situation.

If you attempt to DROP an item via a keyword with multiple matches, you will be given a prompt to specify which you mean. Dropping something while in stealth will only show a message to people already capable of seeing you.
