Party

Also known as: follow, followers, following, group, groups, leader, parties, unfollow

Parties are a unit of characters, npcs, or wildlife that are using the follow system.

Party leaders can see everyone visible who is following them, and their current status (eg, "lightly wounded") in order to keep rough tabs on what is going on with their group. Party leaders can also manage membership of the group or disband the group altogether, or restrict new additions without approval.

Parties will automatically move with their leaders presuming they have sufficient stamina, and presuming that they pass necessary checks such as climbs. The leader will get a line alerting them if anyone in the party lags behind due to lack of stamina, too slow a speed, incapacitation or unconsciousness, or a failed climb check. Parties are only one level deep -- you cannot follow someone who is following someone else. If you attempt to, you will automatically follow their leader, and if your leader joins another party, you will reorganize onto that leader.

Talk verbal commands are sent audibly to those in your party, but can be eavesdropped on by others.
